Soprano Sheba Buckley

Soprano Sheba Buckley is an upcoming artist to watch. A New Jersey native, Ms. Buckley possesses a captivating stage presence and rich sound. Sheba has participated in numerous programs, including Opera Studio di Santa Cecilia under the tutelage of Renata Scotto, Intermezzo Young Artists Program, and the International Institute of Vocal Arts. Ms. Buckley has performed leading roles from Cosi fan tutte,  L’Elisir d’Amore, Dido and Aeneas, Le Nozze di Figaro, Albert Herring, Magic Flute, Queenie Pie and Suor Angelica. As a solo artist with Allegro Singers, Sheba frequently performs scences from I Lombardi, La Boheme, Tosca, Il Trovatore, Tosca, and Turandot, as well other operas, art songs, and oratorios. In 2011, Sheba became a Studio Artist for Opera Manhattan’s 2011-2012 season. Sheba is a Marian Anderson Scholar, and has received her Bachelor of Music degree from Rutgers University and her Master of Music degree from the New Jersey City University.
