Senor Caraballo was recently seen in Antony & Cleopatra with NYC Opera at Carnegie Hall and the NYC Ballet Gala with NYCO at Lincoln Center. Also with NYC Opera, Senor Caraballo performed in the premiere of Richard Danielpour's opera Margaret Garner, the "Beverly Sills Tribute" performing excerpts from Candide, and "Opera For All" concerts, performing excerpts from Margaret Garner. 2008 saw Senor Caraballo in Dido & Aaneas and original works from Artistic Director, Waundell Saavedra's opera The Great Supper (Empire Opera), dell'Arte Opera's Carmen, La Traviata and dell'Arte Opera's 1st Annual Opera Gala. Senor Caraballo created the role of "The Private" in Golden Fleece, Ltd.'s world premiere of Charles Coleman's opera Redemption in 2007. Alexander is also on the roster of Opera Noire of New York City. Other performance credits include "The Three Tenors" (Garden State Concert Band at the PNC Bank Arts Center), Puccini's Madamma Butterfly (Opera Florham), Le Nozze di Figaro (Metro Opera Project), Cosi Fan Tutte (NJCU), Handel's Messiah (MidAmerica Productions at Carnegie Hall), Mozart's Requiem and Orff's Carmina Burana (Margaret William's Theatre) and has been featured on guitar with several jazz ensembles and local heavy metal/rock bands. |
