Valeska Cambron

Valeska CambronValeska Cambron received her MM in opera performance from the Longy School of Music in May and holds a BM in voice performance from Temple University.

At Longy, she performed in numerous opera scenes, one act operas, and as Ramiro for the early music department in Mozart's La finta giardiniera. Valeska performed as Nimue in Savoyardlight Opera's production of Camelot, Phila in Curtain Call Theater's production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and was a featured soloist in the Roaring 20's by New England Light Opera Company.

Over the summers she performed for the MAPS Foundation as the soprano soloist for musical reviews of Andrew Lloyd Weber, Frank Loesser, Rogers and Hammerstein, and Cole Porter. Valeska performed with Opera Delaware in their production of Porgy and Bess, and as the Dew Fairy in Elysium Concert Opera of Philadelphia's production of Hansel and Gretel.

In 2005, she was accepted as a Marian Anderson Scholar. Valeska has performed solo and scene recitals in Atlanta, Key West, Washington D.C. and Italy. She made her solo recital debut at Carnegie Hall in 2003.
