The Marian Anderson Historical Society, Inc.

Dedicated to preserving and continuing the legacy of the late great Contralto, Marian Anderson, has restored her charming 19th century residence which is now open to the public.

Located just south of Philadelphia 's famous Rittenhouse Square , the Marian Anderson Residence/Museum and birthplace are among the city's most treasured resources, rich in the history and traditions of opera.
